The woman behind the strands.
From a childhood love of hair in Senegal to an online brand of raw hair and custom-made wigs.
Tou grew up in Senegal, West Africa, and has loved hair since middle school. She did hair professionally there before moving to the United States.
In the US she taught herself extensions and wig-making, launched a first business before the pandemic, closed it when the pandemic hit, then rebuilt and rebranded.
TouTouD LLC is her online beauty brand for high-quality hair extensions and custom-made wigs. The aim is simple: help women, especially Black women, feel confident.
